1-2 Grade Supply List
2010-2011
- “Easy to open” pencil box (put initials). (No bigger than a cigar box to fit in our tubs.)
- 3 permanent markers (Black only!!) for writing initials on every crayon, marker, textbooks and ART lessons.
- 40 pencils to use over the year. Send 1-2 every Monday in lunch box. (initials!)
- 1 pkg. of slip-on erasers (optional).
- 2 boxes of crayons, no more than 24 in a box. (initial each one) One box is for home to do homework.
- 2-3 liquid Elmer’s glue(white; not thick gel. Should be free flowing), one for school; keep the rest at home.
- Markers (a set for school and a set for home). Larger ones are better. (initial each one).
- 2 –Fiskar scissors. One for home for cutting projects. (initial each one)
- Tablet paper: 3-4 tablets for the year (difficult to find the 3rd grade level later in the year).
- First graders use 2nd or 3rd grade level tablets. (First grade level are too large)
- Second graders use 3rd grade level tablets.
- 1 spiral notebook (70 pages only)
- Tape (optional) (initial)
- Ruler with inches and centimeters (initial)
- Water color paint tray (initials)
- Lunch box (initials)
- Several full size folders with pockets on the bottom half
- Book bag with name (No-wheels preferred!) Large enough for folders.
- Please initial all RA vests, sweaters, shirts, coats so we can find out who owns it.
- No clip notebooks or odd sized pencil boxes because of the tubs we use for storage.
- 2 boxes of Kleenex tissue.
- 1 container of disinfectant wipes
- 1 (4pack) of scrunge type sponges (yellow or blue sponge with scour pad on the top)
- 1 box of zip lock Gallon size-Freezer bags
- RA earphones will be sold in the RA school supply store (approx $7-8). These are for the new children and those who lost/broke theirs last year.
- Homework area at home: A place for doing homework. Pencils, glue, scissors, crayons, and tablet paper for completing class assignments.
